Their new online store, Shop Rooibos, has been designed to be as user-friendly as possible. In the aforementioned report by Statista, it was found that 82% of consumers make online purchases from a mobile device. As such, Rooibos Limited’s new online shop was developed with mobile-friendliness in mind. The store can be viewed from any device, whether it be a laptop, tablet or smartphone. The site’s responsive design will automatically adjust the page for optimal viewing, no matter what the size of the screen that it is being viewed on is.
Rooibos Limited furthermore wanted to put users in total control of how they want to receive the products that they ordered. Consumers can either visit House of Rooibos to collect their order, if they are in the Clanwilliam area, or they can opt for courier delivery when checking out. If this option is selected, their products will arrive at their delivery address in South Africa, within 5-7 working days. Those who choose to collect their packages from House of Rooibos are in for a treat. The teahouse offers a selection of 13 different Rooibos and Honeybush teas, various Rooibos Cappuccinos, Ice Teas, Milkshakes and Ice Creams with Rooibos as an ingredient.
At the moment, Shop Rooibos does not ship internationally. They do, however, plan to roll out international shipping in the near future. When this feature is made available, Shop Rooibos aims to be the leader of Rooibos e-commerce sales in the world.
