Visitors from countries as far afield as Turkey, Russia, the UK, Germany, France and the Netherlands recently visited Rooibos Ltd in Clanwilliam for a first-hand experience of what indigenous Rooibos is all about. Among the visitors were film crews producing inserts on Rooibos. Says Gerda de Wet, Communication Manager at Rooibos Ltd, “These visits present us with an important touchpoint where we can engage with business clients who use Rooibos in their products or sell Rooibos, and also with media representatives who want to obtain a better understanding of the product in order to offer an experience-based story to their audiences.”

From the UK: Only Natural Products Limited
The CEO of UK-based family business Only Natural Products Limited, Keith Garden, visited Rooibos Ltd together with colleagues and family members. During their visit, they were treated to a first-hand experience of Rooibos harvesting, as well as a tour of our facilities, learning along the way about the uniquely South African product that is Rooibos.
From Germany: Florapharm
Messrs. Ulrich Beuerle and Ertugrul Gülcan of Florapharm in Germany spent a day at Rooibos Ltd, experiencing first-hand the ins and outs of Rooibos production and processing, and learning about the people, time and effort involved in producing a cup of Rooibos.
From the Netherlands: Fairtrade Original
Martin Boon and his family from the Dutch family business Fairtrade Original visited Rooibos during February. During their stay with us, they gained more insight into the product that they sell by seeing the bustle of the Rooibos harvesting season in person and by following the route that Rooibos takes through our factory, from unprocessed raw material to a final cup of Rooibos.
From Turkey and Russia: Jason Boswell and Olga Sherz
Rooibos Ltd hosted Jason Boswell, a local TV producer representing Turkish TV, and Olga Sherz, representing BRICS TV in Russia, who produced inserts on Rooibos for distribution in their respective countries.
From France and Germany: ARTE
Rooibos Ltd hosted a film crew from the French-German television channel ARTE producing a documentary featuring Rooibos. Rooibos Ltd provided assistance during the filming.
